Graduate Assistantship | Wingate University | Director of Productions/Broadcasting

Wingate University is seeking a broadcaster with production background for a 10-month graduate assistant position (August 2023 - May 2024).
Responsibilities will include serving as the broadcaster for several of Wingate's championship-level teams (football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's lacrosse) along with producing the live streams, working with other employees and student workers to help Wingate continue to produce quality streams through FloSports.
There will also be opportunities to produce social media content, conduct interviews, graphic packages and any other possible work for any of Wingate's 25 sports.
About Wingate University The Bulldogs won 20 SAC championships in the 2022-23 academic year and are currently second in the NCAA Division II LEARFIELD Cup standings.
Last year, Wingate hosted the NCAA Volleyball regionals, while also hosting conference tournaments for baseball and softball, as well as an NCAA Tournament lacrosse game and softball regionals.
The Division II University is located approximately 30 minutes east of Charlotte, North Carolina.
A bachelor's degree is required and a successful candidate must be accepted into one of Wingate's graduate programs.
The graduate assistant must work many hours associated with the sports information profession, including nights and weekends.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
